Gush Etzion Field School, Youth Hostel and Bedouin Encampment
The field school is involved in guiding and organizing tours throughout the entire area of Gush Etzion, the Judean Hills, Jerusalem, and the Judean desert for teenagers and adults, soldiers, tourists and university students. A 31-room youth hostel/guesthouse is attached to the field school. The guesthouse area is surrounded by plush lawns and overlooking the breath-taking scenery of the Hebron Hills, benefits from the peace and tranquility characteristic of the kibbutz. The camping area looks out over the awesome scenery of the Beracha Valley. Accommodations also include a goat hair tent (heated in winter). Date palms serve as its roof and mats and rugs its floor covering. This unusual tent is a most unique place for parties and family events. It can accommodate up to 500 people. Catering can be ordered.
