Commemorating 63 years to the State of Israel and the renewal of Gush Etzion

The Jewish National Fund brought their Presidents’ Mission to Gush Etzion for a full day of touring. Recently the JNF and Gush Etzion have joined forces to promote the renovation of the Visitors’ Center in Kibbutz Kfar Etzion.

In the framework of the commemoration of 100 years of the kibbutz movement the Prime Minister’s office has declared the renewal of 5 national sites. One of them is the Kfar Etzion Visitors’ Center. A budget of 2.5 million NIS has been designated for the project upon receiving matching funds.

Russian Jewish Congress Visits Gush Etzion

A delegation of 70 leaders from the FSU visited Gush Etzion. This was organized  by  Mr. Yury Kanner the President  of the Russian Jewish Congress.The group was received by Minister Yuli Edelstein and Mayor Shaul Goldstein who both addressed the group. They gave an overview of Gush Etzion and Israel at the Herzog College in Alon Shvut. The group visited the Herodion and the Visitors'Center  at Kibbutz Kfar Etzion. They came to learn about the Gush and hopefully to create a partnership.
