In 2005 a modern winery was built amongst the vineyards at Gush Etzion Junction, with the capability of producing 50,000 bottles. The Winery includes a visitors' center and a dairy restaurant that overlook the area that produces its wines.
The winery produces three lines of red and white wines. The basic line is Nahal Hapirin, a blend of reds in the Bordeux style, aged for a year in wooden casks. The Nahal Hapirin white is a blend of white wines. The mid-range line, and its most recent wine, Alon Haboded, ( Lone Oak) commemorating the symbol of Gush Etzion, is a line of the winery's varietals beginning with 2009 Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurtztraminer, White Riesling, and including 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Sira. The wines will be available in the Boston New England area from late August 2010. This coming New Year purchase wines in Israel from the Winery. From all purchases a donation will be given for charity for families in need in Gush Etzion.
