62 Years commemorating the Birth of the State of Israel and the Fall of Gush Etzion 1948-2010

The Gush Etzion Foundation wishes its

friends and their families a

Happy Chanukah

 

 

While writing this Chanukah greeting a disastrous and violent fire is raging across the North of Israel. The fire has taken the lives of over 40 people, Entire communities have been evacuated and miles of  forests have been destroyed. The fire is out of control.

We ask that you pray for the speedy recovery of the victims, and for another Chanukah miracle. Our hearts go out to all the families. You can join the emergency campaign by donating now to the relief campaign by going to: www.jnf.org

The community of Elazar named after  the hero who fell on this site, in the Hasmonean revolt against the Greeks, fighting against their elite elephant corps.
