Yaakov Wolf, who grew up in London and moved to Kibbutz Gadot in the north in 2007, was hit by shrapnel in his neck that miraculously missed his jugular vein. He was immediately evacuated and the majority of the shrapnel was removed from his neck, while some shrapnel pieces remain because doctors have been unable to remove them. Wolf, who was born in Israel but moved with hi
s parents to Britain when he was an infant, will remain for one week in Jerusalem's Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem

"I love you all…I have to close my phone now…I will call you when I can".
These are the words of our brave soldiers to their families before entering Gaza and shutting off their phones. As we have heard in the news for some of them these are their last words. Please strengthen our boys on the front by reading the following message.

From the Desk of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu Former Chief Rabbi of Israel and Rishon Lezion
This is an abridged form of a statement that Rabbi Eliyahu wrote in 2002 during the Intifada. "To all the people of Israel I hereby give permission to ( the person asks to remain anonymous) to reproduce the "Maccabi" silver coin for the protection and safety of all of our soldiers and residents under fire - in Judea, Samaria and all over Israel, wherever it is necessary".
The "Maccabi" coin is known for its Segula and protective powers against metals and any other kinds of ammunition that may be life threatening. This is a ritual and tradition that has been handed down for centuries by the Ari Hakadosh from Tzefat.
It is customary to wear the coin close to the body, to cover it modestly and treat it as a holy object. This is a well-known Kabbalist tradition.
Rabbi Meir Yehudah Getz, the Rabbi of the Kotel gave out these "Maccabi'" coins to all the Israeli soldiers who defended the kotel and the holy temple site and asked that they wear it at all times.
During these emergency times when our soldiers are actively fighting in a war against terrorism to protect us all, we ask you to purchase these coins -100% pure silver and the size of a nickel. We will convey them to the soldiers on the front lines. The price of a coin is $18. I have had these coins for many years. I have purchased them for all my family members and all of my soldiers. It is a good amulet for protection.
Our boys in action View video of our troops please allow a few seconds for clip to begin. Money from all purchases will go to reproduce the coins for as many soldiers as possible.
The sooner we purchase them the sooner we can get them to our boys…. Purchase Now! Please pass this on to others
