Synopsis:

A young woman from abroad, who comes to Israel to study, finds herself seeking answers to what gives people here the strength to carry on in spite of the danger and uncertainty.

In the process, she meets characters from previous Raise Your Spirits productions – Noah and his family, Joseph and his brothers (by Rice-Webber), Ruth and Naomi, Boaz, Mordechai, Esther and more.

In addition to 18 favorite songs from those shows, there are monologues and dialogues among the characters, crossing boundaries of time and space. What unites them is their faith, their stamina and their courage. Watch as Joseph and Esther share a duet, Yaakov and Elimelech converse about Bethlehem, Naomi talks of her dilemma and Haman pops up everywhere – a presence to be dealt with in every generation.

Hear as the eloquent Ruth sings to the young student, urging her to discover and follow her voice within.

There are two songs previewed from the next original Raise Your Spirits production, on Devora, who was a prophetess, poetess, judge and military strategist. Target date – Autumn 2009 or 2010.
