The Opening of the Jerusalem - Herodion Highway

After many years of anticipation, and countless efforts with government offices we are happy to finally announce:

The Opening of the Jerusalem - Herodion Highway.

The Highway opened Friday 17 of Elul, August 31 2007, at 6am.

This makes traveling time 10 min. from Jerusalem for the communities on the eastern side of Gush Etzion.

When leaving Jerusalem travel toward Har Homa. At the light on Derech Hebron make the turn to Har Homa, travel in the direction of Har Homa but do not enter Har Homa, continuing out to Herodion.

In the first stage the highway will be open daily from 6am-6pm only. Later hours will hopefully take place within a month.
